A DIALOGUE.
Their honours beseech it--then pr'thee now 'cease :
Must the fruitless land war, and the long about peace,
Alike be dissected and murmur'd as ?--`Yes.'
What! under this management skilful and clever!
In camp or in council, confess was there ever
A war or a peace so conducted?__`Faith, never.'
But Trottplaid is testy whenever you fret him,
And keen in his satire, if sharply you whet him:
besides, he can call in his seconds.--`Why let him.'
